This Weekend...


Would you like the good news or bad news first?

I'll give you the good news. I got my haircut finally! its shoulder length with side bangs.

Bad news: I have eaten really terribly this weekend, and did not stick to the diet at all! SO, since tomorrow is a new week I will be starting fresh and hopefully stick to the rules this time! In the morning I will try to go running so we'll see if that works out! hopefully it does!!!

Day Three of Twenty-Seven

Well, I did a bit of late night munching while finishing my homework and since it was morning by the time I had my snack, I decided to count it for today. My goal is to eat 900 calories a day or less. Let see if I can meet my goal today!

I also did some research, and I can loose five pounds in a week if I eat four, two hundred twenty-five calorie meals a day. So beggining today that is what I plan to do!

Wow during breakfast I lost the battle again with a little debbie honey bun and 2 doughnut holes! That was 460 calories!!! I need to start holding myself more accountable!

Day Two of Twenty-Seven

@9:00 wheat bagel with strawberry cream cheese & glass of water (447 calories)
@12:00 bottle of water (no calories)
@3:00 chick fil a chicken sandwich w/ ketchup (440 calories)
@7:00 strawberry-banana light yogurt (110 calories)
@8:00 cup of skim milk (80 calories)
@11:00 3 glasses of water (no calories)

total calories of the day is at: 1,077

I am so disappointed! Today I broke down and got a chick fil a chicken sandwich after school! I had no idea there were 410 calories in one of those babies! LAME! Oh well, tomorrow is a new day and hopefully I will do better.

At around 8:00 pm I walked my dog daisy for 45 minutes and then attempted to run/jog which turned into walking for 15 minutes with out my dog. I really need to get in shape. This is pitiful. Well, after I exercised for an hour, I stretched out my legs and the rest of my body. I then went to take a bath, and now I am sitting here finishing up my homework.

I checked how many calories I burned with the exercising I did and through the following website, I found out I only burned 170 calories. However, overall I burned 439 calories today.

Side Note

I just calculated my body mass index or BMI, 21.8 which seems to be normal. I used this website:

I also calculated my metabolism using the same website. Apparently I should not take in more than 1678 calories a day in order to maintain the weight I am right now. Here are my results:

Day One of Twenty-Seven

Just looked up how much I should weigh for my height on google. I am 5'6, should weigh between 120 and 330lbs. according to the chart on this website:

I am 335lbs, learned this yesterday at the doctors office. I am not exactly losing weight to be thin, just want to eat healthy and exercise more. Still would like to lose fifteen pounds in twenty-seven days though. However, ten pounds would suffice.
I think the reason I have gained fifteen pounds is due to stress, indulgence in unhealthy food and lack of exercise. Right now I am taking three college classes in summer school. Psychology, Speech, and English, not difficult courses but a lot of work is involved. I go to school from 7:30 to 2:20 and attend mondays, tuesdays, wednesdays and thursdays. Then, I work thursday-sunday nights from 5:00-9:00 except on fridays I stay until 10:00. I spend four hours on Psychology and two hours on english a day. I usually spend about and hour on speech. So, obviously I am spending a lot of time studying, and working.
Right now, I don't have a ton of time to exercise or even hang out with my friends. But, since I want to loose weight I will make time. I need to commit to living a healthier lifestyle as far as food goes before I go to college. This is my goal, essentially.

First Things First

Tomorrow I will start my diet to lose fifteen pounds in twenty-seven days. Every day I will write on this blog and document what I did for the day. At the end of every week I will also weigh myself to see progress.
